HISTORY

IMSCo was born in the winter of 2004 at a diner in Hanksville, Utah, as Jay Keitel and J.R. Hughto daydreamed about starting a production company geared to what they were doing: creating an intensely personal film with faultless production values all on a shoestring budget. When Apolonia Panagopoulos - also working closely with the two on the film - heard about their idea, she lit a fire under them, and a working relationship that had only begun 7 months prior grew into something more.

The trio have worked on five features together and many others as IMSCo representatives. Our experiences in taking many films from pre- to post-production since Black Dragon Canyon (on Super 16mm, DV, and now HD) can help you avoid costly technical errors, find the crew you need to get the boat over the mountain, and maximize the potential of your low budget film. We love making films, and we have the specialized knowledge required to make them without breaking the bank.
